Recently, I bought an interesting perfume which is called “L’Acquarossa” by Fendi, I bought the EDT which is mainly due to this one being one of the easiest formats on the whole internet. The LVMH company purchased Fendi and then stopped producing all the perfumes from Fendi, which is such a huge tragedy for the whole perfume industry! There are two easiest perfumes by Fendi which people can still easily find online, also it seems like there is no way to stop producing them in the short future. They are L’Acquarossa Eau de Toilette and Furiosa, and today we are going to talk about the L’Acquarossa EDT.
L’Acquarossa Eau de Toilette is a perfume by Fendi for women that was released in 2014. The scent is floral-fresh and has the following fragrance pyramid:
- Top notes: Calabrian bergamot, Sichuan pepper, Sicilian blood orange, Sicilian mandarin orange
- Heart notes: Peony, violet, West Indian lantana
- Base notes: Musk, red cedar
As people can see, the bright red bottle body matches the golden and cold metal at the bottom to form an elegant style, which is somewhat different from the manufacturing process of many perfume bottles now, because basically, the bottom of most perfume bottles we can see is only glass.
According to most of the impressions of it, it should have a floral fragrance, but, I think it smells more green and clean, although the floral scent is still the base of it, maybe is the Lantana inside it that makes it smell more similar to a fresh scent with green leaves. Although this perfume was launched in 2014, which is almost 10 years ago maybe some young people even never heard it before. Indeed, this smells like a kind of mature lady wearing high heels and walking on the old-fashioned European street, it does not sound like a good idea to wear it with hoodies or some outfits that are too casual.
Today when I was watching an old movie called “Adela Has Not Had Supper Yet” (Adéla jeste nevecerela), it tells a funny story that happened during the 1910s. In one scene, many ladies with pumpkin pants were dancing and extending their legs into the air, almost all the men started to feel excited and kind of lustful. I instantly remembered the perfume I had stashed in the drawer. I’m not sure why I felt compelled to use it. The mature perfume with a tinge of lovely softness is curiously appropriate for the women’s integration in this picture. I think I’ve found a new image for my perfume (albeit I hadn’t found a particularly acceptable image previously).
